Background
This international nonprofit is a global organization dedicated to equipping business and professional men and their wives in personal witnessing, training, and the distribution of Bibles worldwide. Founded in the United States, the nonprofit operates with a structured network of members at national, state, and local levels who share their faith and place Bibles in many locations such as schools, prisons, hotels, hospitals, and medical offices.
Challenge
To support this organization’s growing network of members, they needed a versatile technology partner to help them maintain and upgrade their internal applications. Their goal was to consolidate their technology vendors to simplify coordination, reduce costs, and increase efficiency for their variety of technology projects. They wanted a technology partner capable of managing diverse initiatives to strengthen their project management, optimize resources, and equip their organization for long-term growth.
Solution
Covalience provided a dedicated team of .NET, Vue.js, and PHP engineers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, and a project coordinator to enhance existing systems, develop new solutions, and document key processes, ensuring seamless integration and improved functionality across the organization.
Compared to other offshore teams we work with, Covalience stands out for being much more thorough and transparent. With other teams, we often have to review everything in detail, checking it against our original requirements to see what’s missing. We don’t have to do that with Covalience. Implementation
Covalience addressed the nonprofit’s operational challenges by delivering tailored solutions to enhance key systems:
- App Modernization: Modernized and developed new functionalities for their global member portal, a comprehensive app built with .NET and Vue.js, enabling robust project management and detailed reporting across all levels.
- Mobile App Development: Created their member mobile app using .NET MAUI, seamlessly aligning it with the member portal to deliver consistent and efficient mobile experience.
- Facilitated ERP Migration: Facilitated their migration to NetSuite by having our QA team build test cases and write data migration scripts to automate ERP export processes to populate the ERP once NetSuite was implemented.
- App Support & Maintenance: Documented and provided support & maintenance for their PHP-based global application.
- SharePoint Migration: Migrated their SharePoint CMS, including 2 main websites and 56 subsites, from on-premises servers to the cloud and upgraded their CMS to a modern version of SharePoint with a team of UI/UX designers and a Windows Server Administrator.
